''Ash was absolutely incredible, I couldn’t recommend her enough. All the way through she was incredible with her support and vision. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful bouquet for my wedding. The bridesmaids bouquets and buttonholes were also stunning. My guests were commenting on how beautiful the flowers were. I couldn’t rate her enough for the quality and range of florals she uses, everything was beautifully bloomed and colourful''

Flowers that feel like part of the celebration

At In The Meadow, we create wedding flowers that feel personal, seasonal, and deeply connected to the atmosphere of your day, working across Cumbria, Lancashire, North Yorkshire and Scotland.

Inspired by British-grown flowers and the changing seasons, our designs are relaxed, textural, and naturally abundant — never overly structured or formal.

Every wedding is approached individually, with your setting, story, and overall feeling guiding the design as much as colour or flower choice. We work closely with couples planning design-led celebrations, typically investing from £2,000 upwards, to create florals that feel completely at ease within their surroundings.

The process is collaborative and considered, resulting in flowers that feel like a natural extension of your day — never forced, never formulaic.

the face behind the flowers

Florist and founder of In The Meadow Floral Design, a studio inspired by seasonal flowers, natural styling, and weddings that feel relaxed, welcoming, and full of personality.

I care just as much about how a wedding feels as how it looks — creating flowers that shape the atmosphere of a celebration, from candlelit tables and garden-inspired ceremonies to thoughtful, considered details throughout the day.

My approach is friendly and collaborative, and I want the process to feel easy and enjoyable from start to finish, always guided by what feels true to you rather than expectation or tradition.

Wedding florals

I create season-led wedding florals across Cumbria, Lancashire, North Yorkshire and Scotland, designed with intention, creativity, and natural abundance.

From bouquets and personal flowers to ceremony designs, tablescapes, and larger installations, every element is considered as part of a cohesive whole, shaping the atmosphere of your day.

I offer full-service wedding floristry — always guided by seasonality, movement, and the natural character of the flowers. Each wedding is approached individually, with designs shaped around your setting, the season, and the feeling you want to create, whether soft and romantic, colourful and abundant, or more wild and expressive.
